  Varied and interesting menu with sophisticated selections. Enticing desserts. Sushi is very good. Not wheelchair accessible, but it is a landmark heritage building that has been fully restored. Parking on street or in the pay lot across the road. Two stories inside and comfortable booths. Good for lunch, with a view to the harbour.

  Found the food to be overwhelmed by the spicy sauce. Had the jumbalia. The service , however, was excellent. They are very willing to cater to people with special dietary needs.

  Atmospherical place. Perfect for a dinner date. We had halibut and steak, both was cooked on point and very delicious. Great selection of cocktails and craft beers. Fancy desserts and friendly service.

  The Firehouse Grill is the only restaurant I will eat at in Nanaimo. They have the absolute best sushi rolls I have ever tasted. Friends who have enjoyed burgers and sandwiches on their regular menu have claimed that it is the best food they have tasted. The service here is excellent, and the vibe is great. You can't beat eating in a century old firehouse with views of downtown Nanaimo and ocean glimpses. Highly recommended!
