  This is a great walk for everyone able to walk 5 km. It is mostly flat, but roots and rocks are on the path so if you aren't steady on your feet it's not for you. When the weather is bad the trail gets muddy so proper foot wear is recommended. I do not walk this park alone as I was ambushed by some teens while jogging with dogs in the park and there is no quick exit for help. If you enjoy a nice walk and have a partner and are well prepared. Nice distance for walking your dog but not an off leash park!

  I biked through the park a few times.The park seems to be well used as the trail head the parking lot was full. A large camper pulled in with no place to turn around and had to back up down the road and find a place to turn around.A experience the driver was not qualified to handle.I watched for a while and left. Some one needs to put up a sign warning at the end Hemer Rd would be motor homes drivers to think about turning around.
