  Finally, a fully serviced campground that doesn't feel like a parking lot or trailer park! A beautiful, mature forested campground on the shores of the Nanaimo River and the Straight of Georgia, this place is incredible. With optional pay WiFi throughout the grounds and Shaw free WiFi at the office, you can stay connected if you want, or ignore the world too. The showers are a dollar for 5 minutes, which is plenty for a quick soap up, and the facilities are clean and well cared for. The shower was hot and the pressure was perfect. Never before have I witnessed staff leaf-blowing and raking camp sites after campers checked out. Housekeeping at a camp site! We will be back!

  We just spent the winter at Living Forest Campground and it was a pleasant experience from booking over the phone to arriving and greeted from Shirley and the rest of the office staff. Like to thank one of the owners Scott for treating us snowbirds (and I mean SNOWbirds this winter) to a great variety of nature walks. To all the staff that keep the place clean and drivable in a unusual difficult winter. And now for "Security BOB"...IF 1)personally delivering a package I was waiting for to my door. 2) checking with me to see if I needed propane (which he does for every one from pick up to delivery) 3)bringing me a ladder to my site etc when needed etc etc makes him grumpy and hard to get along with! Then you would have to be a camper that everyone else dreads being parked beside!!!!! Good job with the riff raff Bob. Thanks for the nice stay everyone. Bob and Johanna

  Very nice campground, super clean, nice sites and friendly staff. Only thing that could be better is the price for the shower! 1$ for 5 min is a little much I find
