  We love Mambos! We come here once or twice a week for slices at lunch and all the staff recognize us. They know I only eat vegetarian and will rush to get one in the oven if there isn't any already there. Always friendly, great humoured service and the pizza is freaking delicious.

  My partner and I love these pizzas usually, definitely the best in town, but had a disappointing experience today. We ordered a gluten-free pizza - I remember mentioning it twice and also that I was aware gluten-free pizzas took half an hour. We were out shopping and it took us longer than we anticipated, so we called in to let them know we would be delayed. When we arrived there to pick it up, we realized they had a regular pizza, not a gluten-free one, for us. I understand mistakes do happen, but it's how a business makes up when it messes up, that ultimately defines a customer experience. Both the guy at the counter and the one making the pizzas were totally nonchalant and least apologetic. All they could offer was an offhand suggestion for making another one but that it would take another 20 minutes. I have had experience in other restaurants where when things go wrong, they have the courtesy to make it up to you by offering it on the house or slashing the price by 50% or whatever. That's just good customer service. No such thing at Mambo's. Not even a sincere apology. Not impressed Mambo pizza. You leave a lot to be desired
