  First off the service was very poor one lady serving all the tables with very little in the way of people skills. Pizza was not very good at all crust was way too thick tasted like canned pasta sauce as pizza sauce. Ordered shrimp au gratin it was small frozen shrimp with grocery store cheddar cheese melted over top. My son had the chicken parmesan it was a formed chicken patty once again cover with canned sauce and grocery store cheese. This restaurant used to be good. Do yourself a favor and buy a rising crust pizza from country grocer for $9 it tastes so much better and won't leave you feeling ripped off.

  I don't know why the reviews aren't better but I think this place is great. The staff knows us and we always get great service, another place on the list of our regular dining outings.

  Suffering from food poisoning from this place as I write this... The food was extremely disappointing and gross there, and now I have been sick for the last 48 hours because of it. I know it was this restaurant that made me sick, because it was the only thing that I ate that was out of the norm from my regular diet over this time period. The restaurant does not look very clean, and when we ordered a pizza, I expected it to be "New York style", ie: a thin floppy crust with large cut slices and lots of cheese that you can fold in half. What arrived was what I can only describe as a frozen pizza crust that tasted like and had the texture of two-month-old focaccia bread covered with canned sauce and very little cheese and toppings. It was gross. Had we not been so hungry after waiting almost an hour for it to arrive to our table I probably would've sent it back. Do yourself a favour and avoid this restaurant. Another prime example of a terrible eatery in Nanaimo that should not be in business.
