- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Had the unfortunate chance to stay in the cabins at Westwood RV Park and was very unhappy with my family's experience. Park is extremely unfriendly to children, they may as well say no kids allowed. Before they even let us stay there I had to convince the owner that my two-year-old daughter was "good" and wouldn't bother the other campers. That should have been our first red flag but it was a long weekend and they were the only campground with any vacancies. I can now see why they had them. Then our daughter had an accident in the office. We cleaned it up immediately and apologized profusely but they became hostile and demanded to inspect the mattress in the cabin we were staying in even though we promised she hadn't peed on it. The boorish Australian owner was very rude to my wife and interrogated her like we were criminals and not paying (paying a lot btw, it's not a cheap place) customers. It all made us feel extremely uncomfortable. We were obviously turned off at this point and wanted to just leave. They then had the nerve to hassle us about giving us back the money for the days we were no longer going to spend there. They tried to give us some line about how they're "not a hotel" and couldn't just give us back our money. They eventually did but not before making our remaining time there extremely stressful for no reason. On top of everything the cabins are tiny, stuffy little sweat boxes that are not enjoyable to be in at all. You couldn't pay me to go back there.By Alex Reid, June 28, 2017
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I'm Alex Reid's wife. Our daughter is TWO. Not 5. Not that it should matter. Things happen and I was genuinely quite embarrassed and sorry for the accident. You didn't have to be so rude to my daughter and I. I'm a nice person and I would not recommend shaming people or making people feel bad. As far as the campground goes, it was nice. I did not like the cabins because they were small and cramped together. No privacy. I would recommend staying here, as long as you are perfect, rich , and have no kids.By Tayce Omoniyi, November 20, 2016
