While the name is deceptive as the prices are consistently higher than the same item (brand and size) at other stores like Country Grocer Thrifty doesn't skimp on quality. I know I'll get high quality items every time here. Pay more, yes. But some goods aren't worth paying less for lower quality in my opinion. The staff is awesome and customer service is fantastic.

Love the seafood department.... great selection... good prices.. excellent customer service. Happy to have wonderful Thrifty Foods stores, in Nanaimo.

Don't get me wrong, Thrifty Foods is a wonderful company. Now, this specific store? This store is absolute garbage. Trust me on this, don't shop here.
